Profile: Tadashi Kageyama

Tadashi Kageyama is a Senior Managing Director and head of Kroll’s Asia operations including Japan. Tadashi helps clients mitigate the risk of fraud and respond to dispute and litigation, regulatory and compliance violations and intellectual property theft.

Prior to joining Kroll, Tadashi was a global purchasing agent for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd and spent three years in Tokyo and four years in the US head office in New York. Tadashi’s responsibilities included negotiating and securing a number of multimillion-dollar contracts with suppliers worldwide and investigating suspicious and disputed contracts. Tadashi has worked as a staff writer for Nihon Keizai Shinbun (Nikkei), has served as an advisory member on the subcommittee of the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and speaks Japanese, English, and Spanish.

 

Professional Experience

• Business Intelligence & Investigations. Over 12 years of experience conducting sensitive and complex business intelligence assignments across multiple jurisdictions in the aerospace, automotive, ship building, construction, engineering, chemical, retail, finance, telecommunication, and pharmaceutical sectors. He also helps clients manage their intellectual property by providing investigative services and advice on global enforcement actions.
• Vendor Integrity Programs. Tadashi has helped design and implement comprehensive vendor integrity programs for a number of Fortune 500 clients.
• Fraud Investigations. Significant experience in managing white-collar crime investigations such as fraud, embezzlement, extortion, and industrial espionage. He has also assisted in large litigation cases and worked with companies to assess their strength of internal controls and compliance policies.
